Ash is also traveling with two companions: a young adult woman named Sonia, who is also the granddaughter of Professor Magnolia; and a boy named Hop, who's Leon's Younger Brother and share the same goal from Ash of dethroning Leon. Together, the trio travels to the first section of Galar, meeting new trainers and Pokémon and learning about Galar history and secrets.
