A Years Worth Heartbreak

Before reading,
I once read a poem with the same title and the same idea. I can't find it anywhere anymore but it made me really open my eyes to a lot of truth in this world and in no way are all of these ideas mine, but what they wrote really hit home. I took the poem and put my own spin on it and added more meaning so the content is mine and hold all my personal truths. But I think it's important to credit the person who opened my eyes to it in the first place. And I think that's the beautiful thing about literature. We can read something and be inspired to grow from it and adapt our own story. So here's mine :)
