Rhysand and Feyre have long since defeated Hybren and are enjoying a time of peace but will all that be interrupted by a strange portal opening and a blonde demi fae.
Aelin didn't quite know what was happening but, she did know that she was somewhere different and that this black haired high lord was powerful but, was he on her side, and will he help her get back home?
Rowan has no idea what's happening he just wants his mate back.

A year after Aelin awakes to find her home covered in kingsflame, she and the co have finally met up again all together in Terrasen. On a routine seizure of information and to wipe out Hybern assets, the Spymaster and General of the Night Court come across a woman, beaten and weak, supposed to be Hybern's weapon master. They take her back to Velaris to heal and meet with the High Lord, but as the soul tie snaps together, another bond does as well to the High Lords' brother, Prince Ascelin. Being thrown back into society, Aether must navigate healing her trauma, meeting her new found family, and grow into her role as the Mother gifted Guardian.
