"So? What do you say?" Tristan asked. "Even if you still say no, we'll just force you in." Pierce said, earning a smack on the head from Tristan. Well, I just stared at all of them for what seemed to be forever since Pierce began snapping his fingers in front of me. I scrunched up my nose and swatted his annoying hand away. "I just couldn't believe that my favorite band would ask me to be one of them" I said and smirked at them. -- Raven Lorelei Midwinter. Yep, that's me, hello there. You're probably wondering what this story is all about so let me give you a rundown. I am a social outcast. Never been invited to a party, not even a girly slumber party. Never been asked to a formal dance. And, I don't have friends. Well, I guess it's kind of a cliché for a main character to have these sad things happen to them but believe me, it's real. I had friends once...but they proved to be fake. I like one of them, then the other got jealous. But I don't mind. Screw them, I'm about to get recruited by one of the hottest bands in the world. I'll kick anyones asses before they could even say I couldn't dance or sing of play an instrument.

Scholar

[COMPLETED] [Warning: Strong language used throughout the book.] He put his hand over my notebook and the other over mine. I glared up at him, his golden brown eyes catching my attention. "I can't write like this," I pointed out. "Is this all you care about?" Ryan asked. I shrugged. "Not this specifically, but yeah, I care about my grades." Ryan smirked. I swallowed nervously but refused to break my stoic expression. He leaned closer to me, my heart pounding so hard against my chest it felt like it might break out and fall on the table between us. His mouth was right by my ear, and I could feel his warm breath when he spoke which sent shivers down my spine. "Well, aren't you a little a scholar?" *** The only things Alex Moris ever cared about were his grades and his sister. However, when the boy his sister likes, Ryan Smithe, makes things complicated and causes him to feel things he's never felt before, Alex realizes that, maybe, there's more important things in life than grades and scholarships.
