Everyone in the world has tattoos but not just any tattoo these were special ones , you was born with them , They was the name of your soul mate , there was no changing this so you was stuck with whoever you got but it was instant love , if that person died the name would fade and another name would appear , so when you are born with this tattoo most people go out and find this person or you can live your life and they will come to you. The difficulty is determining what the mark means, and Arthur thinks that's the stupidest part of this whole "soulmate" thing. Everybody has a tattoo; they could be absolutely anywhere on your body. The tattoo begins appearing on the person's sixteenth birthday. Nobody has the same tattoo as they reflected the person's personality. They could be similar, but they are never duplicated. Depending on the person's soulmates mood, the colour of the tattoo changes. When they're mad, it turns a mix of deep red and orange, when they are embarrassed it changes to a bright yellow, when they are upset it turns blue, when they are feeling lonely it turns purple and so on. The only time the tattoo will light up and turn white is when the person and their soulmate are in a thirty foot radius and when you lock eyes with your soulmate, it begins to heat up. That's when you know you've finally found them.
