The world once lived in harmony where the economy prospered and technological growth skyrocketed. Decades after decades, emperors were chosen to rule the 6 planets in the star system. One day, a seventh planet was discovered. Humanity plunged into panic when they found out the planet was already populated by an unknown species. Following the panic, emperor Shun, praised for being immortal, was found dead. Since then, for 84 years, humanity has plunged into a massive war promoting chaos and death all across the planets. In a desperate attempt to reunite humanity to fight back against the extraterrestrials, supreme leader Kosh, grandson of emperor Shun, holds an emergency meeting in hopes to find common ground and retaliate against the extraterrestrials.

Earthrealm, Netherrealm, Outworld, Edenia, Orderrealm, Chaosrealm, etc. Several Eons ago, the Elder Gods created these realms that housed their own civilizations with their own ideals of good and evil. Outworld was especially known for committing various kinds of evil. Ruled by the tyrannical Shao Kahn, Outworld sought to conquer and merge the realms, allowing for him to rule over everyone and everything. And so, to maintain balance and order, the Elder Gods created a life or death tournament held once every generation where each realm could put forth their best warriors to try and defend their realm. To gain a complete victory, either the opposing side or the defending side needs to win the tournament ten consecutive times. However, if the current champion loses, then the count restarts from zero, thus needing ten more victories once more. Edenia was the first Realm challenged by Shao Kahn and was also the first to fall. After conquering and merging countless other realms, Shao Kahn moved his attention to Earthrealm, winning nine consecutive times before being defeated. Following his defeat, he began to lose many more times after that due to the exponentially increasing power of the people of Earthrealm. After four more losses against Earthrealm, Shao Kahn withdrew from Earthrealm and allowed them to go free. About a hundred years later, Earthrealm continued to live in peace, while still dealing with villains in their own world. Despite all of this, the God of Thunder, Lord Raiden had a feeling that this wasn't the last time they'd seen Shao Kahn, so he continued to train warriors for the potential upcoming tournament. Two of those warriors were Liu Kang and Kung Lao, two shaolin monks from the Wu Shi Academy who were as close as brothers. But even the two of them weren't enough to ensure the safety of Earthrealm, they needed more warriors. Join Liu Kang and Kung Lao as they join the Hero Academy in Japan to try and seek the warriors they need to defend Earthrealm.

Hi there, I'm JD, a 31-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish Economist living in Barcelona with my Russian (pro-peace) wife Anna and our two kittens; we met in Italy eight years ago, and almost since then we have been working on this project. During our careers we've worked with people from South America to Japan, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to Norway, the characters in the novel are based on people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who left me with invaluable lessons which we feel the duty and privilege of sharing with our fellow humans, hopefully sharing what cosmologists call "Space Bias". There are seven main protagonists each one with their own chapter - which can be read in whichever order you prefer, - two of them in present tense and the rest in past, it's all part of the story. They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.

Its been two thousand years since humanity lost their home planet and a thousand since they first made landfall on the world they now call home. The trip was long and fraught with danger but they managed to survive in no small part to the new gods they found along the way. The Celestial Court granted life to various forms of variant human species, sculpted to perfection as the next evolution for mankind. After a thousand years however humanity finds itself on the edge of collapse, as technology from the old world breaks down more and more the people of the new world are regressing into a more feudal state of living. As technology declines and degrades, magic and the supernatural has become the norm. Conflicts are on the rise between the different factions of the Celestial Empire all while the gods themselves watch from above silently. In one small corner of the Empire rests the Black Coast, home to the mysterious and ostracized race known as the Twins. It is in this quiet place that a set of triplets will determine the fate of not just the Empire, but the world as a whole for decades to come. --- This is a book I've been working on for a few years when I have the time. Due to my dyslexia there are grammar/editing errors from time to time. I am hard at work trying to polish the book as I do my big round of editing prior to publishing online. My experience in posting online is not great, so please be mindful that there may be tweaks to format and the like. WARNING, this story contains gore, violence, body horror, suicidal thoughts, swearing, and various other sensitive subjects.
