Angelica Mangleheart is a 15 year old sophomore who hates bullies. Then she moves in with her father. Now she has to go to a new school in which she knows nothing about.

One day, she helps out a freshman who ran into the wrong crowd. She saves the poor girl from torment from the cheer leading squad. But, when she does, Angelica is their new victim.

Angelica has been bullied ever since that day, every single day. She only has one "friend". Aaron Meloetta. They're more allies than friends at first. But after a while, feelings develop.

Only, before they realize they're feelings for one another, Angelica thinks of suicide. Of course I wouldn't blame her with a past like hers.

Will Angelica and Aaron realize they're feelings towards each other? Will Angelica let go of her past and move on? Or will she push Aaron and his love away just to commit something terrible?
