amil was an assassin for King Drake when our story begins. You see, in this world of shadow, doubt, fear, greed, and corruption, one could always find solace in the art of extermination. So King Drake hired top tier assassins, including ones such as Asazi and Samil. During this time in our story, there is a rebel uprising, threatening to over throw the king. King Drake realizes the threat these rebels posed to his kingdom, so he chose one of his most new and promising assassins to lead the war against the rebels: Samil. Asazi (another up and coming assassin) becomes jealous of Samil for being chosen for this task, and disappears from the map as he plots his revenge. Samil meanwhile, eagerly embraces his task. For you see, assassins aren’t all about cloak and daggers, but about precision and finesse, which can be applied to the very subtle art of war. It is a chance to prove himself to his king, and to squash an uprising that could threaten the foundation of peace that the people of Asku have known for many a decade.

This story really starts in the middle. Ari, who often goes by A, is propped up against a tree in the middle of a forest with a dagger in her stomach. She's lost a lot of blood already, and she keeps losing more. Helios is kneeling next to her, and they're both trying to figure out what to do. I'll start at the beginning, though. Ari is a wanderer, traveller, adventurer, and lots of other things. She doesn't have a home, until one day she does. She's chased into the Akiire territory by the Akiire's enemies; the Tesera. Luckily for her, the chief of the Akiire tribe takes her in. Akiire medicine men and women fuss over her until they're sure she's safe. Then the Akiire initate her as a member of their tribe. She gladly accepts. She's started to like it there, after all. Then Helios starts talking to her. He's nothing special in the tribe. He's a good warrior, but all the warriors are good. The bad ones have already died. Nonetheless, by the time we get to the forest with the dagger and all that, A has only spoken to Helios a few times. Now he's her only way to stay alive.Concluída

Lotus felt a woman was unfit to fill such a responsible position, and took his rage out on them, killing the Captain after a days battle. He banishes Erin, sending troops after her, for her head. However, she was smarter than that, and saw that coming. She travels with Rune, a man who saved her life during the previous days battle, reluctantly. Rune is a secret assassin for Queen Eiva, who has sent him on a mission to find out about this upcoming war, threatened by a group called the Pandoreos. He has his own secrets that not even the queen knows, however, Dakota, a wolf who can speak to Erin, can tell he's hiding something. Erin eventually struggles with her feelings toward Rune. When the threat of the Pandoreos worsens, Rune is called back to queen Eiva. Rune commands Erin to travel with Kier, a man who has a special hatred for these Pandoreos, and warn Queen Beatrice, and King Cecerion about the upcoming war, in hope for an alliance with Queen Eiva. That is, if the humans can stay one step ahead of the Pandoreos.Concluída
