Danger
It was a normal day before everything went up in flames. A nature research facility exploded, covering the town in a thick cloud of purple smoke, turning every bug and insect into giant mutants out for blood. People ran every which way as the world we once knew went down in flames. Blood filled the streets as the ones left only watched in horror as their loved ones got eaten alive. Five groups of survivors-that's all that was left of the once overflowing town. The new Humanity group, the new government and law enforcers. God's Saviours, the ones who think they are chosen by God himself to create a new world. Mother Nature's group they are the ones planting new crops, living off the gifts Mother Nature provides for them. Scavengers, the protectors, the ones not afraid to stand face to face with danger. They kill the mutants and go outside the gates to collect stuff from the outside world. Then there are the Traders; they buy stuff from the Scavengers, trading it with the other groups for other goods. If you want something, ask them and they will get it for you, but only for the right price. They try and build a semi-normal life. But will the survivor ever restore the humanity of their beloved town? Or will this fragile new order be built on the same vicious power structures that defined the old world, the one that was controlled by the mafia? When the legendary assassin, The Red Serpent, re-emerges from the shadows, their presence threatens to shatter the peace. The Humanitarians send their most dangerous enforcer, Jackson Stone-a cold-hearted killer driven by his own dark secrets-to hunt them down. He only finds himself drawn to the one he was told to hate. In a town drowning in monsters and blood, the real war is about to begin between the leaders who crave power and the killers who crave each other."

I have felt sadness, I have been through depression, and I have had that feeling of complete loneliness in the world. So when I looked at the boy sitting in front of me, the one with his head down and bags underneath his empty eyes,... I knew I saw myself not long ago. I offered him my friendship, but he rejected it. I offered him my help, but he rejected that tooβ¦ and then it came to the point where I couldnβt handle the rejection anymore. Who was this mysterious boy who happened to make my life suddenly seem like it has purpose? Why did he want to reject the one person who could actually help him heal from whatever he was going through? I didnβt understand him, but I was going to make myself known in his world. I didnβt care what happened, but I was the one who was once rejecting everything and it got me nowhereβ¦ I didn't realize what I had gotten myself into until it was too late. Vengeance pumped through his blood as I soon realized that there was not only sadness in him, but also anger and hatred. War between a species I didnβt even know existed until I was suddenly thrown into it full force. Now he fights to protect and also to push away not only me, but also his feelings. He just had to realize that I wasnβt going anywhere, that I am rebellious when it comes to rejection.Complete
