After having Sonic announce that he would be marrying Sally Acorn Amy fell into a state of depression. She stopped eating and sleeping and just wasn't herself. Even so she hid her pain behind her ALMOST perfectly plastered smile. Still a few friends and acquaintances could tell. One of those people happened to be Shadow the Hedgehog.

He was never really close to Amy but once he saw her collapse on the street he took it upon himself to get the love sick hedgehog out of her slump. The more time they spent together the more he began to fall for her until he fell completely.

Amy, feeling the pressure of time, ends her relationship with Sonic, despite their mutual feelings for one another, as he's simply not ready to settle down and commit. Following Rouge's suggestion, Amy turns to Tails for help with her fertility concerns, however, an unexpected incident alters her plans, leading to the emergence of a groundbreaking discovery. Shadow struggles with his feelings for Amy knowing well she doesn't reciprocate. Her love for Sonic was indestructible. However one mission at Eggmans base changed all of their lives forever. Has TRAGIC events... that may or may not be solved don't want to spoil! I originally made the story as a short story which was the first chapter of this story however I soon decided to make it have its own book as it is hard to make this into only 2 parts! May have multiple endings. Mainly Shadamy but has SonAmy too. (I want to clarify I wrote this story and I had inspo from a comic I read in high school back then. So full credits to them for inspiring me. However I did this story entirely on my own with my writing style. I came up with the plots and characters' development. No hate or you will be blocked/muted.)
