Marienna Reyes has always lived a difficult life. Deaths, big let downs, and everything crumbling around her are just a small fraction of it. Basically, all they do is erase teens' minds, so that teens can let go of their dreadful pasts and start life anew. Marienna's wish to perform the Erasure on her almost comes true when she's about to turn 16 in about a month. But then she's kidnapped from her orphanage by a boy named Daren, who tells her that there's more to the Erasure than what the government actually reveals. Will Marienna still go on with the Erasure?
