Faith Denison is immune to the Flare. Her father runs the Crank Palace close by Denver and she has worked there since she was young. One day she is sent to search an unidentified Berg and it changes her life forever. Here she meets Newt, a handsome Crank with a troubled past. She quickly falls head over heels for him and she learns what it's like to be driven crazy. Will Faith risk everything she knows to pursue an impossible romance, or will she remain the soldier she was trained to be?
~Okay I know that the whole Maze Runner craze has probably fizzled out by now and I started writing this a while ago but I figured I might as well start posting it rather than letting it rot in my drafts. Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way.
