A historical half-truth that builds on both the real and the imaginary. Sophie is a young woman who just completed ten years of university. She has a degree in architecture, but she doesn't have a job. Through good fortune, she lands a short term job that turns into a long term mystery. The novel is set in the affluent residential district of First Shaughnessy, Vancouver BC. It is based on both real and half-truths that Sophie uncovers about the people who once lived in the old Tudor mansion on the Crescent.
