This is a short story (a Fan fiction) loosely based off of Rick Riordan's characters and plot in the Heroes of Olympus series. I have adapted the storyline and characters a bit to fit my own rewrite of it. I take no credit for any of his original characters, works, or published writings, only my own adaption of it. I have taken on an entirely new direction with this story, only telling a new, original story of my own.

Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.).
