Inside you will find a mixture of both, extremely RAW and refreshingly HEALING accounts of my personal war with my past. Unfortunately, Childhood sexual abuse is far too common, and many of share similar experiences. Looking back, what I could have used more than anything was someone to tell me "You're not alone, there is a lightness through the darkness, you can heal from this and most importantly don't EVER stop telling your story to make others comfortable". I've learned that silence is the best weapon for a predator, and I for one, have never been really good at doing what I'm told. I don't intend on starting now. I wear my scar as reminder that I hold the power in my own story, it is mine to tell and I won't make myself sick keeping quiet because my truths are hard to swallow, other people's comfort is not my problem. My Goal is rather simple, to let the readers know, they too are not alone. If you are a survivor, even if you still feel like a victim, this is my personal message to you. "You are strong, and it wasn't your fault. Tell someone... tell anyone...tell everyone... We shift from victims to survivors when we speak up and tell our stories. There's nothing wrong with you, and the light will shine again. just some poems I wrote when I'm feeling low or in a dark place, my poems help me cope with my depression and other mental problems it also helps me from going all the way down in my dark times. these poems are dark, depressing and some have suicide in them, if you don't like poems like that I wouldn't recommend reading this. If you do like poems like that then please read on. Also if you read these please do not comment that you feel sorry for me, I did not put my poems up for pity or sympathy. nor send me messages wanted to know all about my demons because you see me as entertainment to you now. (A short horror book) There are no spoken words. A place with no sound, nothing to see but the darkness. Alone or not, it's always there with someone. It gives you nightmares and it waits for you until you give up. It likes scaring you, it's just behind your head and just doesn't look like it. It will always remind you all those memories that you've always hated as it even rises up your anxiety.
