It was the year 2009 on a cool November night, when a pool of lava starts spewing out of a hole in a ground. Fire soon starts shooting out of the ground like bullets. A tornado of fire and lava rocks starts spiraling out of the ground. Within the tornado, a figure appears. It appears to be a young girl with horns and a tail.

"We have to jump!" i screamed at everyone at the top of my lungs, i looked around to find at least 75% of our group either eaten or eating some one else. i knew i was being too slow in making my decisions, but all i could concentrate on was the sound of my heart beating in my chest. i pulled nicol to the floor and away from the zombie that nearly chewed off her head and watched her send a knife into its head with what seemed no effort at all. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. I was running, it was dark and there were tress everywhere. My long dark wet hair flying everywhere, it stuck to my face covering my eyes. I remember seeing a movie like this once. There was this girl and she was in a city and she was running from someone and she looked back to see if he was still chasing her and she tripped and fell. The guy got her and she thought he was going to kill her. I had always made fun of those girls cause if you were being chased you wouldn't look back you'd keep running. The ground was wet I could feel my feet sliding. I turn my head just enough to see if the creature was still behind me, I tripped over something hard and I fell to the ground face first. My eyes were closed but I could feel as if something or someone was behind me chasing me.Complete

While saving her they notice one of the men is missing part of his face. Will they be able to make it to safety, or will they become one of the dead.
