"I shouldn't have told you about me or my family. It was wrong and very stupid of me."

"No it was not. I don't care if your a monster. I still want you."

"Do you? Every time I look at you I can see it in your eyes that your afraid of me. You should be."

"I'm not afraid of you, I-I just don't want too loose you. Your the best thing that has happened to me."

In a flash Gage was in front of me where as he was standing at my doorway. I gulped and took a step back.

"See I told you, Chloe. You are afraid of me. I-"

"No, Gage, I'm not. To be honest I-I love you." I never thought I would find myself falling for a werewolf. It scared the living crap out of me. To know that I didn't live in a world where it was just Humans, but other creatures as well.

Bringing me out of my restless thoughts I felt hot and semi rough hands resting on the sides of my face. His eyes took on the burnt gold color then his lips were on mine.

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
