Now going on five years working for the same agency her bosses have thrown an impossible task her way, getting closer to one of the most known and feared gang leaders, Eric Pine.
One problem though, they used to go to high school together.

- This is of course a Jasonette Fanfic. This story will also have some references to the One-Shot I did in my other book so you can all go check it out. - MDC and Nettie will be included. The Batfam doesn't know of course. - They do not know each other's secret IDs. ~~~~~ Marinette's originally from Paris (therefore she can speak French) but then she had to move to Gotham but while there, she started feeling different and that her body was changing. Soon she noticed creatures that were always floating around her and she could never get rid of them. She realized that now, she was a metahuman. She kept her powers a secret and those creatures she saw, who they called themselves 'Kwamis', would help her control her new abilities. A few years past and Marinette's parents, Tom and Sabine, past away after being murdered by a villain. After that day, Marinette swore to herself that she will take revenge and make sure that no one else suffers the same fate as her parents did by indirectly helping the Batfamily. ~~~~~ Read to find out how the story ends. "Ava, you have to be quiet! They'll hear you-" Tears started to spill from my eyes, blending in with the rain that dripped down my face. I shouldn't have come here. The last time I followed someone I made accidentally noise and got them killed. I had to get away from Jaxon. I turned on my heel, ready to run to, but Jaxon grabbed my wrist.
