On our way back from the park one day my best friend and I are kidnapped by three odd men that appear to be identical triplets. We end up in an odd place far away from home and discover we were kidnapped by a weird alien race that always speaks in third person form. I always said I wanted an adventure but I didn't know I was asking for this insane train ride with mutants and aliens!

Atlas Toren, after escaping his abusive family is sent to Magnus's Institute for Troubled Young Men, where he finds eight other guys- who used to be in the same kind of situation as him. Hybrid: The Awakening

The Cave
Five co-workers and a guide struggle with a creature, a live relic from the past and from another dimensional plane. The creature is simultaneously lizard and birdlike, while also having anthropoidic characteristics. Once upon a time, this alien race made contact with a lost human Civilization in the region. The two races initially made an alliance, but the greed of some of the humans caused a war to erupt. The discovery and cursory inspection of the cave by one of the characters results in an impromptu, amateur tour. During the journey through the cave one of the co-workers, through a combination of stubbornness, curiosity and willfulness, becomes separated. He stumbles upon a cache of interesting artifacts inside of an oddly inhuman room with alien technology. It is in these confines where he unlocks the being whose last memories of human interaction are still freshly stinging its memory. The group grapples through the tenuous caves trying to escape the creature's vengeful wrath. The ensuing mad flight from the cave to relative safety results in a battle for survival.Dokončeno

'I was abducted by aliens' Pretty clique, boring and pretty common among internet hacks who thought lizardmen existed. Maybe they did, Lee didn't know. After the alien thing, anything could be real. 'I was abducted by aliens, returned, had a mental breakdown and ended up joining a mental health cult where I fell in love with a polygamist group of counsellors.' That had a bit more weight and interest to it. Add in 'I ran away but miss them' to the mix and Lee's life is summed up. Now the family has found him again and he's not quite inclined to avoid their pull back into the flock (As ever, I have about 10 chapters pre-written or else this would go in my drabble story)
