Before him, I used to love being afraid. I wasn't your average girl; I played the most terrifying games, read the most riveting thrillers, and watched every horror film I could get my hands on. I was in love with the sheer exhilaration that fear afforded me; when I was afraid, I was alive. Of course, that's an easy hobby to have when you get your thrills from watching it happen to someone else. It was all fun and games when I was the one turning the pages, manipulating the controls, sitting at home wrapped in a blanket in front of a T.V. screen as I lived a nightmare vicariously through the characters. Being scared was fun because I knew none of it was real. There was a clear line between fantasy and reality. Turn off the T.V., close the book, quit the game, and I was in control again. I was safe, like always. I could walk away, laughing and alive. I used to love being afraid...
Until it wasn't a game anymore.

However when a young man crawls into the room you woke up in, he greets you with a loud scream in fear having not expected anyone else to be wherever you were. Deciding to work together to get through the situation you begin to notice that not all is well within the walls of this building. Nor in the minds of the man by your side and the other one over the intercom. What have you gotten yourself into?
