They couldn't stay here any longer, they needed to move, and soon. It was apparent that their presence hasn't gone unnoticed and Galahad did not want to put this young cat in the way of the danger that might ensue with their continued stay. 
"I believe it's best to leave now my little beetle, we've rested for long enough." he quietly urged the young she-cat to her paws, a yawn quieting what little resistance she may have put up. But immediately both of them froze as they heard an unfamiliar voice call from somewhere within the shelter.

"Leaving so soon? But we've hardly had a chance to say hello!"

This story follows the journey of a kittypet tom and a lost apprentice back to her home clan. Along the way, Galahad learns what he can about the ways of the clans and their beliefs, and soon grows a strong bond with Beetlepaw. But as with any journey, it is not an easy trip, and not knowing the way only makes it harder. Will they make it back, or will they be doomed to wander aimlessly and perish before the young cat can be returned home?



| This is a warrior cats fanfiction that is separate from the canon universe history and character wise. The things that happened in the books do not exist in this fanfiction, same with the canon characters. Any similarity is simply coincidence, though the structures and the names of the clans are the same. The location of the clans is somewhere within Washington State. Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment. Being a healer who suffers from severe anxiety isn't easy, but Twitchpaw knows as long as her mentor is there, she can get through it. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
