Based off of the short horror story called "The Seven Barns".
The trees intertwined with the ground creating millions of fingers. They teared at the soil, digging their way under many feet. They were menacing, making the 1900s colonial house seem minascule standing next to them.
People would pass by the land, seemingly unaware of the masked beauty. The house was lost in time. The trees continuing to grow without a nurturing caretaker. The remarkable garden in the back completely hidden from the fast pace world around it.
The family bought the house with their last savings. It was expensive, but they believed if they left their dream house, they would lose it. They took a treacherous leap of faith.
The man with no name has been following them for years. Leading them, watching them, creating pain. An invisible monster, possessing a young girl is the only way this man with no name can take his revenge.

It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. Lucy was taught many things, how to fight hand to hand, use different weapons, other magics. One overpowered the rest though. It's called Third Blood. This magic is wanted by dark mages for one reason. It can resurrect the dead and help you heal your wounds. It's a magic that only some can weld, those who failed to learn the magic correctly have lost their lives trying. Lucy starts making appearances but she isn't the same. Tattoos cover her, scars, dressed in black, black demonic markings on her body. A single black eye. She's changed but what everyone soon wonders. "Natsu please... Pull yourself together!" Lucy screamed. Natsu looked at Lucy, then away. "Please Natsu, don't let him control you!" Natsu now looked at lucky with anger. "Lucy watch out!" Shouted Gray. Erza launched towards Natsu, but when she swung at him he grabbed it then sent her flying backwards into into the wall of metal. "He's so strong..." Gray said in shock. "Looks like he was strong enough to take out Erza with one hit! It's amazing because she's a S-Class wizard." Lucy's blood went stone cold as Natsu faced there direction. He stood there for a few seconds, then his expression turned evil. He started running towards Lucy with incredible speed. Gray noticed this and right when he was about to hit her, Gray stepped in front taking the hit. Lucy rushed towards gray and kneeled beside him. She finds out that he's from a race of Chaos made by the Angel Raziel, and that she is also one with two different powers but Chaos are only born with one, everyone thinks she's the new generation on Chaos. But when the enemy, the Foreshadowed somehow get their hands on her, her family secrets crawl out and reveal a power she has no idea existed. The man tells her his name finally but he also reveals a dark horrible secret from his past which traumatized him for years, then she feels like she's actually falling in love with him. He knows everything about her, the reason she became human, the two powers she could have, the truth of how her father died. He begins to protect her life with his own. A couple are walking home through a park. With the father is carrying their five years old daughter in his arms when a silent hammer wielding man attacks them. The frenzy attack carry's on until both adults are dead.The child is knocked out with blow to her head. Thirty minutes later she wakes up looking for her parents. She see them covered in blood and screams out mommy and daddy. The neighbors across the streets hear her . And call the police.

No one understood why anyone would want to kill the little family, who's been through hell and back after the father walked out on them. He took all the money forcing them to move into the tiny home. Even then, they were still positive about things until... The terrifying day took place. No one has ever moved into the house since then, considering all the rumors going around about the son haunting the cottage. His first sighting being a few months after the murder and since then there's been many reports of his shadowy figure in the windows. Teenagers often explored the place but as soon as they were out of the house, they never went back inside. - Zach Herron, aged 17, now ready to move into a house of his own. After being under his parents watchful eye for years, he's ready to finally walk on his own two feet. He could've moved out at 16, legal age in England, but decided against it but now he was prepared. The cottage seemed like a fitting place for him to stay, he's seen the reviews about it being 'haunted' but paid no mind to it. [This story was written and finished a long time ago, meaning it's completely awful and I highly regret writing it now.
