I'm not sure how many of you, if any, have ever read or even heard of the chicken soup for the soul book series. I used to love reading them and I own several of them. With that being said, I am making a collection of all my favorite poems that I've read. None of these are mine. At the end of each poem, I will write the person's name of who wrote the poem. Hi guys!! My name is Nyia and I'm kinda new to this "author" and "publishing my own work" type of thing. But a good friend and of mine and fellow Wattpadder (by the name of AshleyPCole if you don't know her go follow and read her works as well) convinced and inspired me to post my own works so that's what I'm here to do. I see you've somehow stumbled upon, My amateur book of magic. Turn the page, if you wish, That would make me simply ecstatic :) Nothing but a girl who has a small talent with pen and paper. Decided to follow in the footsteps of my good friends @Crimsyy, @wordsnvisions and @Bondy11, and attempt to contain all the magic flowing in my soul into a book of poetry. Those three are amazing, but this is my work. My pale, flickering candle stub in a tiny puddle compared to their poetry, which is as radiant as the sun and as deep as the ocean. But still... Don't let that deter you! Read on, fellow wattpadian! Join me on this magical journey through the soul behind one girl's words... (Fair warning, this was written by my 12-14 year old self, who was very sweet but also incredibly cringey. She's still a part of me though, and I'm leaving this book up as a time capsule dedicated to her. SENSITIVE STRINGS by wineandnectar

August is slipping through our hands like a half-sipped bottle of wine and this year for me has been the most Unhinged, deranged, yet somehow on some level chic and comforting. I found and discovered things I never thought I would and I lost some things of great meaning which also I never thought I would. This year sure has been a rollercoaster of a ride, and the most terrifying thing about this is that the year hasn't even finished yet. I've felt a lot of emotions like madness, happiness, sadness and confusion and homesick-hysterion and a flash mobs of questions posted in my mind like post it notes just screaming. And so I got tired of them. And I wrote an anthology of the events that happened to me this year and have happened to me in the past. This is a concept record. Each track is a letter to someone, or some situation where I wanted to say I lot of things... But I couldn't so I decided to let my mind and heart intertwine, and speak those words that I couldn't. I hold Sensitive Strings close to my heart because it's my first anthology. Although it might not seem like it right now, but in future after release of several other anthologies, I want to look back at this record and just laugh, because it's a depressingly funny record of an 18 year old queer boy, and it's probably things that most people relate to because unlike *coughs* some people, I don't gatekeep my trauma as unique, because it's trauma not a competition. I hope that you all will love this record as much as I do. And I hope that Sensitive Strings will keave you all to want more. And I promise with me more is always coming. I just want to say to all those people who supported me in this, Especially all of my friends, you know who you are. I love you and this wouldn't have been possible without you. With all your love to me, And your greatest empathy, I take this step further without looking back now, SENSITIVE STRINGS IS OUT NOW. Love you & Thank you. Riv.

Have you ever heard the saying that if a writer falls in love with you, you live forever? I can confirm, it's true. Everyone I mentioned in this book I fell in love with, they are all immortal. This book is a confession of a young man, often sad and depressed, feeling homesick for someone he had not met yet, feeling lonely and mad at those who don't love him in return. Confession of a young man who overthinks a lot, who loves to think of past and who loves to be nostalgic. Melancholic, very personal but brutally honest. This is my own, personal masterpiece. I am a poem that breathes. Not until I was lost I began to understand myself.

Swoosh - a book of breezy poetry by BreezeOfEchoes

Some of the least poetic poems you'll ever read, written by, you guessed it, me! These are some thoughts and feelings that I tried to put into words. I started writing poetry regularly back in January, so the poems in this book kind of tell the story of my life in 2018, since that's when I wrote them (except for the first seven poems, which I wrote in the summer of 2017, plus a few others that I indicate are old). Some of them are kinda random though. Warning: contains whining about my ex, anxiety, being nostalgic, and being very emotional. May cause varying levels of cringing. {Completed November 29 2018}

Poems are a great help to depression. My cover is not be very appealing and my title seems boring. Poems are also not liked by people very much and is considered boring. I may not get many views. But in the end "Don't judge a book by it's cover" only wins. So I have bought you some sad poems, food related ones, poems related to the things I love, Love yourself, Romantic and many more. These are written by me and please don't post it anywhere without my permission. To explain you why I have added a pink heart with black background, it is because the poems tell a story of girl(me) to whom people think she is very cold, straight forward, rude and all those things but... in reality she is too soft for this harsh world. The pink heart represents the softness she is hiding inside using her black side so no one would misuse her. The angel in her still haven't faded after getting betrayed, lost, depressed, fake people, bully and many more. She doesn't wants to go through this again. The pink background in the upper half tell that she still have hopes in her life. I want the readers to know the deep meaning behind the Title themselves and I won't reveal it until the end of the book. Keep your guesses up and think what possibly could be the meaning of this unusual title. Thank you and enjoy the journey of this little girl warning: if you are expecting this to be a story then sorry it isn't a story but a collection of poems written by the "little girl" depending on her mood that time. It is more like a Journey. You could skip it if you want to. Or learn about the little girl I'm representing/my life.
