Bridget and Ash are half-human and half-mermaid. It's early 2013, and they're ending first grade in a large Pennsylvania city known as Philadelphia. Their majestic tails form in water above 32°F and below 100°F. They hope no one finds out about their secret, but a cruel betrayal by their so-called friend lands them on the most watched news channel in east Pennsylvania! They decide to escape until everyone forgets about them. These two best friends swim all the way to Isola del Giglio, Italy in 10 days, only stopping for food, water, bathroom, and rest. The girls make a mysterious discovery in Italy as well as meet three new friends. Then, a terrible problem emerges, and the mer must face it alone. How will the five half-mermaids of Isola del Giglio solve this issue?

"Well, what do we have 'ere?" A hoarse voice stated above me, making my eyes glaze upward in the direction of the culprit, only to freeze at the icy, crystallized irises of the owner. There, above me, was the man I saved, looking insanely at me with crazed eyes and a mocking tone. I struggled from underneath him when he let the hair graze my breast underneath my blackened hair. Grinning at me madly, my eyes narrowed distastefully as his hand touched my crimson scales, stroking the tail almost lovingly. "Is this how you repay your saviour, pirate?"

The royal guards ambushed the princess and took her away to the witch's house near the ocean. The two white witches agreed to help the princess for her desperate plea to return to her home castle. And stop her brother for his act of disposing his only twin sibling. The two white witches told her to take a swim in the sea before leaving. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid. She has a long way to see her pink tail fin works in the ocean floor.

See their mother is mortal but their father is the G-D of the sea. But all her twin brother Percy knows is that he thinks their father left them. They really don't belong in this world they have powers but all magic comes with a price I fear. For one their mother remarried to this pig he has no respect for women and hates herself and her brother but the reason why is because of his horrid smell it keeps those that want to hurt them away from them other immortals like their father. They pretty much live their lives in the water and they can do things with water like their father but he doesn't know it and the only reason they have the problems they do is because of their powers those problems go away when they're in the half blood world with other demi-G-Ds like them in that world she's a mermaid, legs on land and tail in the water, and the not talking so much she has a beautiful voice, but its part of her powers her singing is like a siren song.
