So, he tries his best to not get too upset at dice for any mistakes he makes. Obviously, still getting upset easily but does a lot better than before especially with the help of henchmen. He meets a young cup named checkers and the cup helps him in his quest to get cupheads soul, obviously they don't but since the cup has been such a help, they stay around anyways, being "adopted" by the devil. While devil deals with his new feelings for king dice, Henchmen has to try and stop a demon wedding because he doesn't want stickler to get with devils sister. (This story kinda goes all over the place, some ocs are involved as well if you couldn't tell, but in the end this is a cuphead show devildice story>3)

He enjoyed a good hopeless soul but the way those poor people looked as they were brought out in chains, naked as the day the were born, some with fear some just done being alive after all they had endured, it just... it wasn't something he wanted to see.
