This is my very first story and my very first attempt in writing. This story follows the lives of two soldiers, Kristoff and Andre, and how they deal with the ironies of life in wartime.

A group of friends deal with life in the trenches along the Western front. Young German soldiers sent to fight a war they were told would be over by Christmas, soon realize that they aren't going anywhere. I did as best research as I could at the time, I'm sure it is not 100% accurate. This was written several months ago based on a story I wrote in middle school. I decided to I wanted to post this somewhere just in case someone else found it, maybe I can get some feedback. I know it is far from perfect and I have thought about going back and reworking it but just have not gotten around to it.Complete
