{1} The Element Storm {X2}
{Set before X Men, then skipping into X2) Sierra Storm was always an anomaly among her peers. She always wanted nothing more for herself, to just be normal. When she manifested her powers at the age of 12, she was so terrified to find out that she wasn't normal. Until one day, Charles Xavier tracked her down, to tell her or confirm to her rather, that she was in fact a mutant, a very, very powerful one at that. She was brought to the Xavier's School for the Gifted, and she was accepted and integrated into the school, despite her doubts and all of her misgivings about being a mutant and especially a powerful one like Charles said about her. She was not expecting to find two boys there, that had all complete oppositional mutations who also happened to be best friends. One had the mutant name Iceman or Bobby, while the other was Pyro, or John as he had been called since birth. They quickly gave her the nickname Element, after realizing that she had many useful abilities and they were all related to the elements. They also found out very quickly enough to their pleasure, after accidents around the school, that by combining their gifts of their specific elements to hers, that they could create something even more powerful then what they already had on their own. Sierra was not one to scare easily, especially not when it came to being snuck up on, but there is one thing that has always scared her, and that always will scare her. Losing the acceptance of her family. Human or Mutant Normal or Different The only thing Sierra ever wanted, was a family. The Darkness Ignited (The Gifted)
"Mom said that we would make a new underground. I just didn't see how that was possible, but somehow we did. The only problem was that we were all wanted fugitives..." This is a story that is about what I think would have happened if Blink never came through her portal at the end of the show. There are new characters, interesting storylines, and many character arcs. After everything, the Mutant Underground has been through somehow it is still up and running. Andy and Lauren are struggling to deal with everything that has happened. Their powers keep malfunctioning. Lorna's stressed, how does someone put a nationwide group back together? Mia and Josh got found out by Sentinel Services. They were found by the Mutant Underground only by chance. Esme is trying to be good, making friends, helping out, but is it enough? New challenges are faced every day. The Inner Circle is still up and running and they are trying to take the underground down in new ways all the time. The Purifiers are still attacking mutants at an increasing rate. Sentinel Services was hunting Mutants and they were getting closer and closer to the Underground. Marcos demanded, glancing back at her in the rearview mirror. But Lorna noticed the drop in temperature. "John.." She said worriedly. The door handle froze shut when Akira grabbed it, the rest of the car began to follow suit. Lorna watched Akira's eyes turn icy blue and then, Akira screamed. ----- "Black Frost? Okay, how'd you come up with that?" "I didn't. My mother told me about it once. It's a non-visible frost that turns vegetation black." Akira paused. "She was tired of me killing her flowers." -x- For years she's been called, The White Haired Witch of the North. She was thought to be a legend, a myth. Nobody could survive out in that frozen landscape, nobody except a girl with cryokenisis and the overwhelming need to isolate herself from the rest of the world. When scientists finally capture the "white haired witch" they realize she's the famed Akira Lim who plunged Japan into seven year long winter at only six and half years old. Now that the American government has her, they don't plan on letting her go. But the Mutant Underground has other things in mind. But with powers so volatile and a secret Akira refuses to divulge, John Proudstar has his work cut out for him if he plans on breaking through her ice covered heart. The Dawn of X has arrived in the Marvel Universe. Xavier and his allies have founded the new mutant nation of Krakoa, promising a safe and supportive home for all mutants no matter who they are of their past crimes. Mutants have flocked to this new paradise, glad to free themselves of the hateful world they once lived in. Yet not all mutants are so eager to join this new nation, including the mercenary 'Darktruth'. But now a job has arrived at his door that will lead him to Krakoa, and force him to make a decision about what his future is going to be. Note- This is a new story starting off during the current 'Dawn of X' in the X-Men section of Marvel comics using some of my original characters. This is essentially a continuation of of fan-fiction I wrote on the old Marvel boards and more recently the Mickey's Tavern site, the latter where I've been posting this so far. It's a bit of a soft reboot, given some of these characters were left off in places that created problems for this story. I'll do my best to reintroduce all of my characters, and hopefully as I do I answer any questions for people who may have read my fan-fics before. This is an evolving story, meant for me to explore different ideas that are playing on my mind, particularly that grow from reading the comics. If this causes any inconsistencies as it goes (this is probably an ongoing story, with no set ending yet) I apologize, but will do my best to try and avoid that. Also this story will contain mature themes and events. I can't say exactly what it will contain so will give a general trigger warning, with specific ones on issues that dive into particular things. I just know I want to write a more raw story in the Marvel U, perhaps diving into things the comics can only touch upon due to their rating.
