Worse for Love- Book #3 in the WF Series
Love. A word that never made sense to Ivy Blanchard. Yes, she helps all of her friends with every relationship because she wants to see them happy, but she never really believed in the exaggerated picture of what "love" is. Trusting someone completely by opening up to them has never really amused her, and maybe that's because of what she went through as a little girl. When one day, she gets drunk and calls Kai Hale; one of her cousin's friends, to come and get her, it escalates into a fake relationship that neither of them expected. To convince her friend that she doesn't need help finding love, she decides to create a fake relationship with Kai. Although, the lie only begins to lead into other things that neither one of them realized or were prepared for. Kai is the exact opposite of Ivy. Smiling is second nature to him, and love is definitely something he's always believed in, he just doesn't have enough time for it with his complicated schedule. When Ivy and him begin getting close though, he realizes there definitely is something happening, but convincing Ivy that it's okay to let someone in is harder than he thought it would be. Will he actually get over the wall she's built since she could remember?

((Completed)) I stay on the floor. I sit staring at the bedroom door for hours, seething with anger at myself. The more I think the angrier I get. I know anger won't get me anywhere, especially here, except maybe dead. Still, I sit enraged. The whole house is silent. It's probaby the most quiet it's ever been. Normally it would soothe me, but the fact I had been sitting here almost all day now turned the quiet afternoon silence into fuel for my fire. I look over at Jade who had barely moved at all. I wish I could protect her. She came back for me even though I told her not to. There's not realy anything I can do though. Maybe I could make some kind of deal? No. That's what got us here in the first place. Then again it really can't get much worse. I have to try something or else I don't know what will happen to her. I mean she's the toughest person I know. Everyone has a breaking point and I don't want to see her get to that place. I'm already the worst friend ever, all I do is make things worse. I stare at the wall and pace the room for a few more hours. When's he getting back? I need to get out of this room and talk to him. ----- Sheri and her bestfriend, Jade, find themselves kidnapped by a sociopathic sadist named Todd during a road trip to Minnesota. To make things worse, Sheri and Jade both know no one's looking for them. They're on their own. It's a mess they can't possibly get out of, alive.

    Dead!
When Ivy Livingston woke up on a normal Wednesday morning in November, she didn't know that was the last time she would see her little sister, her cat, or her best friend Chloe. She had no idea that Anthony Wilson, the freak that she had been bullying since middle school, would bring his father's rifle to school and kill Ivy and four of her classmates before pressing the gun to his own skull. And she definitely couldn't predict that the afterlife was no more than a simple waiting room, where she would wait while the Celestial Bureaucracy decided whether she would go to Heaven or Hell. Ivy already knows that this isn't going to be easy. She's a borderline case, so it might take a while for the panel of judges to make their decision. She just hopes that she doesn't end up like that guy who's still waiting for his number to be called after two hundred years. However, as Ivy begins to make friends with a hockey lover and a girl who was so emo that she fell apart, she begins to think that maybe, just maybe, she can redeem herself. 2nd Place in Teen Fiction in the Whirlwind Awards. 3rd Place in Teen Fiction in the Mystique Awards and in the Prism Awards. Alive at Night, Awake at Dawn, Attached at Heart are available now. Already at Risk, which follows Collins' brother Cameron, is coming on October 16th. Thank you so much! When a college freshman with a learning disability and a reputation collides with a straight-A, straight-laced girl in the dorm kitchen one night, he sees the darkest parts of himself reflected in her. But the two of them resist acknowledging their hidden truths, and their forbidden connection, until ignoring it all becomes too perilous. *** Bren meets Madie during his first week at college, and he's certain he should have nothing to do with her. First of all, Madie has a boyfriend. And second of all, Madie's boyfriend radiates a toxicity that Bren only just escaped from growing up. But knowing what he should do doesn't help him at all. Madie might be completely entwined with her abusive boyfriend, but Bren quickly becomes determined to unravel her. But can Bren open Madie's eyes to the truth before it's too late? *** "Don't go back to being treated like you're not real." Madie's lips parted, and I couldn't read the expression on her face. But we were so close now. "You're real, Madie. Feel it." "I feel it," came her breathy reply. When it came to her, I was weak. My legs couldn't hold me anymore, and I slid down. Landing on my knees, I kneeled back against the bottom of the cold door, letting it cool my hot skin. "Good girl." The words were more of a pant; I could barely catch a breath with the way my heart was racing. But I had to tell her, talk to her. "Now, never forget it. Never forget the way you feel right now, Madie." **MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY** This story contains sensitive topics such as abuse, violence, and explicit sexual content.
