It's been three years after the car crash that took John Laurens' life, Alexander stopped opening up to people and devoted his life to his school work. His friends, Lafayette and Hercules try their best to have him come out of his shell but it seems to fail. Laf decided to take Herc and Alex to see his cousin, Jefferson, in Paris, in hopes that Alex will break out of his shell.
