For an LA project, I had to write a 3-4 Page Memoir of my Life. I decided to write about when my cat died. WARNING This is violent and heart-wrenching. This is a touchy topic and I know it was a very depressing time in my life. I did have the cat for 15 years and grew up with him. To lose him was like losing a parent or sibling. It was hard.

I Remember
I decided to write this memoir for my kids. Kalina, Braylon and Bryce. I wanted them to know how I grew up and what all happened when I was a child. Maybe one day they can sit down and read this little book and remember MOMMA. I want to also apologize if this memoir offends any family member, every one has their memories of events in their lives. Let me tell mines as I lived them and as they were told to me by other family members during my lifetime. This book is filled with traumatic yet funny memories of my upbringing. It's a tell all from what I went through, in my eyes not anyone else's. Hope you enjoy reading this as I've enjoyed writing it. It's not meant to seek pity, instead it's written to shine light on the real problems of society. poverty, single moms, the damage due to drugs, incest, abuse and most of all, origins of brokenness. We all have a story to tell, mine is of survival. It didn't happened to me it happened for my good. God is good!! Be blessed.Complete

Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... An Unforeseen Love
When all she knows is abuse, abandonment, heartache, pain, and fear can anyone make her feel safe again? What happens when her Knight in shinning armor is just a nerd who loves video games and wants to nothing more than to make her every wish, hope, and dream come true? Will she give him a chance? Or will she think that she needs to protect herself and never let another man hurt her ever again. Throughout the book I will be telling the story of events that happened from each characters point of view to hopefully give you some more insight on what each character is going through. The main part of this book is based off of my current relationship. Some of the events are made up and not fully true. This is My Life
I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! An Extraordinary Life
My fifty years of good or bad heartfelt life experiences written in honest, bold and direct expressions. I believe my purpose and mission are to live a passionate life and share my interesting story with the world to inspire and touch people in many ways. I took two years to write and two years to revise and edit it with the help of my third child and two professional editors. After being turned down and advised by hundred of publishers to turn my story into a novel. I kept trying but couldn't do it as it is not in me. So until last September my very special new family doctor agreed to be my first reader and gave me good comments with excitement, I decided to self publish it with the help of my youngest child. I hope to grow as a writer, and be able to share more stories with you all. During the ten years wait, I have moved out from the unsafe home and living a wonderful and happy life that I am ready to write and share my An Extraordinary Life and it continues with you all.
