The walls are closing in around Cinder, a griffin chased from his home by an army of other monsters demanding fealty or death and not much caring which they take. There is no one to turn to- no other clans of monster who would help, no gods who will listen to his prayers. His last chance is the demigods of Camp Half Blood- his fate is in their hands.

(This story is almost 10 years old (it's originally from 2013 oh god) and went through a big rewrite in 2018! I'm afraid to say it's slow going. My writing on this is sporadic :))) Characters from Percy Jackson will most likely not be showing up very often, and it's unlikely I'll delve into any romance. You've been warned!)

She has seen every crook and cranny of the dairy state, but after an accident, she finds herself in the state of New York. She lives with her grandma in a small house in the suburbs of Manhattan. Despite all she's been through, she loves living with the one person she felt closest to, away from trouble. Until now. Beth has grown up in the Windy City and stayed there for her whole life. Her mom has decided that going to New York for vacation would be a good idea. They're now staying in a hotel close to the beautiful sights of Long Island Sound and hopes to relax.
