Storm Maine is seventeen and moved into a new town for his senior year of high school with his adoptive parents. Besides his dark past the only problem is...the town is 30 minutes away from the prison that holds his real father! The only person he can count on is the mysterious Gale Vesalius who he just met through his new best friend Christina Lowe. He finds his new friends throwing some curve balls at him that he never imagined they were even capable of. And upon finding out about their secrets he just might be questioning the town he moved into and it's 'safety'. But on finding out his son is still alive and so nearby, Richard, Storm's father escapes from prison hell bent on giving his son new nightmares to wake up to at night to, or maybe keep living through old ones...
