Samantha always wanted a life that was worth writing about. Then, after a tragic accident that should have left her dead, her wish had come true. Only, it wasn't the kind of life anyone would wish upon themselves. Kept in captivity as a slave to the 'everlasting beautiful monsters,' she had wanted everything to go back to normal. But, was anything going to be normal for her again?
After being purchased by her new slave owners, she is awakened to another side of these monsters. They didn't all hate humans and treat them as slaves. But, she can't help but feel that they are just putting up an act. A ruse to make her let her defenses down. In her new environment, she tries to stay strong in her ideals, but there's something about her new slave owner that she finds herself attracted to.
Can she find it within herself to let her new owners into her heart? Or will she continue to let the ice exist until her dying breathe?
