Leading to Freedom

Rachel, only age twelve, fights the system and her mother, just to live with her father and have a little freedom. At her mother's, Rachel gets treated like a slave, gets hit, and is more antisocial than ever. While at her dad's house, Rachel sees light in every possible corner, no matter how deep the corner is.
