Kaelia has been abused and bullied her entire life, and she's gotten used to it. Years of this mistreatment has made her timid and afraid to try something new. Afraid to have an opinion. One day, when a strange boy shows up at her school one day and basically kidnaps her, Kaelia's life begins to change. But she's not sure she likes her new life. Maybe she'd rather be beaten up by her father than be sent on a frightening quest to save the new world she has found.
