The Hard Life is a story about a girl who lives a hard life. A lot of people think their problems are bad but hers are worse. And for those who have read the tags and wondered... "How does this relate to PJO stuff?". Well let me explain that to you. Izzy is a girl who grew up thinking that her life was her life and that her step mom was her mom. Izzy eventually ends up at camp-halfblood and will be claimed. You have to read to find out by whom. Izzy has faced tough situations since she was young. I am warning you now if you have a problem with any of the following don't even bother reading this story!

Isabelle Marie Winters is a 15 year old girl who just so happens to stumble upon a camp for half-bloods. When they first tell her what she is and explain to her about the gods and stuff she thinks its foolish and silly and not real. As soon as she starts to believe it she is determined to find out who her godly parent is. Izzy not only has to face the issues of her past memories but now has to face all the problems of an average demigod. Izzy has been at the camp for quite some time at this point and wonders why she hasn't been claimed, But once Izzy goes on a quest with other demigods her using her natural abilities and gifts she gets claimed once they return to Camp Half-Blood. When Izzy gets claimed it doesn't shock her that much yet she is a bit surprised.
