21 year old Ryuu Sakai travels to Dustfoot, Myritrea, to continue his research on monsters, the creatures who go bump in the night. Mythical, historical, abominations of mankind, which had, over time, been   shut out by the rest of the world, confined to the small landmass known as Myritrea. There he learns that his origin nation has taught him lies, and to never judge a book by it's cover.
