Left on the doorsteps of the Silver Rose Orphanage as an infant, Lucius does not know of his heritage, let alone his surname. He has a difficult, but relatively ordinary, life at this orphanage. That is, until his entire world changes on a night cast by a full moon. In a heated argument, he discovers that he has extraordinary magical powers and that those employed at the orphanage were not exactly who they seemed. He learns of a prophecy, known as the Prophecy of Moonlight, which foretells that one blessed with the magic of a legendary wizard would have the power to unveil the darkness that had befallen the kingdom of Laelux. With the betrayals and twists, Lucius is unsure whether he can carry this burden or not.
