There is a balance for everything. A balance that should never be broken, because when it does.. everything else crumbles down into dust. Jill, the troublemaker, and Clove the goody two shoes, have the same kind of balance. And although there was more deep to their personalities, and they knew it, they always did end up balancing each other. 

But everything falls apart after Clove takes a trip which she doesn't come back from, and the letters she left behind can only help a person's pain so much.
