Arden is a kind and sweet girl, but she also has an attitude that could get her in trouble. For years she had known about her parents and what they used to be apart of. She had the perfect life, the perfect friend and the perfect family. What she didn't know is that because of her parents past she could be in trouble.
Her parents were once in a gang, but while in it they did something terrible. When the guy her parents got in trouble with finds out about Arden's existence he does the worst thing imaginable to her.
The leader, Jace, has taken her parents hostage until she can give him back the thing he held dear to him. With that Arden knows she isn't going to be able to do this herself, so it's time for some reinforcements.
In order to help she knows that she has to join a gang that is run by her friend who is like a brother to her.
