Merthur AU - The Tournament. That's all the game is known by. It's a famous game, one where you can drink and gamble to your hearts content. But to the sorcerers who are forced to fight day after day it's more than just a game, more than just a show to watch and bet on. To them, it's a matter of life and death. A game in which you must gamble your life, whether you want to or not.
When Uther Pendragon is invited by King Alden to the Kingdom of Cambria to watch the famed Tournament he's all too happy to accept. Arthur, however, doesn't share his father's enthusiasm. As the prince does all he can to keep Morgana's magic a secret from the two kings he finds someone else he needs to worry about; a contender of the tournament named Merlin.
