Evalynn James has no care in life. The only child of a florist and a lawyer. She loved to distract herself in books and spending time with her boyfriend Jack. Enjoying the escape in poetry and drawing. She was loved and guided at the age of six, all thanks to her grandfather.
When the truth of her father's mishaps creating offsprings he's created with his secretary, a cheating boyfriend, and being famous of rumors spreading through the college dorms and hallways. It was time to move to start fresh. But was she ready? Was she capable of learning new things?
Darren Jackson, the worker who helps her grandfather with the Ranch along with his brother, has agreed to help guide the young lad. Teaching her to work and tend to guests in the western cabins they have in Chappell Hill of Texas. Learning more of the Ranch, Evalynn learns about the rules and orders didn't come from her grandfather but from the two men she lives with.
She finds herself, learns more about what she wants and doesn't. Beginning to break rules and do things she wouldn't imagine on doing.
But all hell breaks loose to one Rodeo. A choice she didn't want to face. A choice to spend her life with.
