A Defenders fanfic AU full of ships and snarkiness, courtesy of Jessica Jones.
Jessica Jones used to live a normal life before she was possessed. After being freed from the demon, she tries to return to her previous life, but she can't.
So naturally, she tags along with former Chaste member Matt Murdock, who works as a freelance exorcist in New York. He isn't initially thrilled, but hey she helps him pay the bills. He can't really complain (that much).
At least, until they meet Discount Captain America - or rather, Daniel Rand, the heir to Rand Corporation and the current Iron Fist. He needs their help to save K'un-Lun from the demonic presence that is slowly infecting it's residents.
Join Jessica, Matt, Danny, Luke, and Claire on their quest to save K'un-Lun before it's too late.

Despite some crack moments, this will be a mostly serious fic with mentions of depression, violence, feels, romance, and swears. And a lot of snarkiness.

Alice Jacobs is simply a young pretty girl who needs a job. Sure, her close friend Foggy is someone who she talks to probably too much. And too much implies that he actually got her a job because of it. Being a useless intern. He really just said that she just has to bring the coffee and the cookies, nothing more. Maybe a few helpful hands like writing copies or being in the room when Matt Murdock insists on "special" input. But her boyfriend doesn't enjoy her job, and is quite the prick. Leading to some bruises, headaches and drama, which shouldn't be a problem since Alice is quite the independent women who has an innocent alter ego she puts up. But Matt can feel when something in the air shifts, and it isn't just the bruises and attitude.
