Hamartia

Having someone close to you who you love and trust is one of the most important things to have in life. Even from the earliest days of society, people have been there for each other. Regardless of any sort of flaws or diseases, people are able to love one another in a way that no other animal has. Humans are unique in their intelligence, along with their simultaneous lack of intelligence. Humans are the only species to be self-destructive. Yet despite it, we are able to love one another. Disease, it is something that debilitates a person and their relations with people in the outside world, at least for the most part. However, some are able to look past that. Life is never what you expect. It can cripple you in many ways. Some people can't handle the reality around them.

Hamartia is a fatal flaw leading to the downfall of a tragic hero or heroine.

Schizoaffective disorder is a mental disorder in which a person experiences a combination of schizophrenia symptoms, such as hallucinations or delusions, and mood disorder symptoms, such as depression or mania.

This is a one-shot following the story of Mika Frost and Julian Kuhr in the span of one week after the Fort Lauderdale airport shooting in January of 2017. This story is fictional, and all five victims were passing through Fort Lauderdale to go on cruises with their spouses. This story does not follow the shooting verbatim, and thus has some fictional, added in aspects of it that did not occur in the actual shooting. This is, however, for story and character purposes.
