Everything was normal. The possibility of things such as the supernatural, fairy tails, myths, legends, and monsters could easily be dismissed.... That is until a wolf taken into sanctuary in Fresno California escaped, Rampaging and killing anything in its path as it changed shape, becoming a mix between man and wolf. The media went wild, dragging many packs of the species known as Virlupus out of their quiet average wolf life. Some packs began to riot, others didn't even know. Some Humans began building groups, calling themselves werewolf hunters started killing. War between man and beast breaks. Ace, the son of the alpha of a particularly brutal and reserved pack known as the Shiha pack finds himself in love with a human girl from a nearby western Alaskan village with a population of only about 300 people. Decisions are made and soon enough Ace finds himself alone with nothing but misery, left to fend for himself as both humans and Virlupus become his enemy.
