She stood alone on the balcony cupping her warm tea. The soft breathe of air from the close of another smoldering hot day smoothed past her cheek and made the chiffon curtains behind her dance. Sighing, she took a sip of her tea and then laughed to herself. A few weeks ago she remembered rejecting a man's offer to buy her a tea after the accidental mess he had brought upon her pristinely white shirt. He meant to walk unnoticed out of the cafe with his tea in hand and she had meant to walk in without bringing attention to herself. She wasn't looking to buy tea, though the small dimly lit cafe was called Tea Heaven, she had seen someone walk out of the store with a irresistible looking pastry.
