Moira Dulcets sister was murdered when she was ten years old. Since then she has trained in combat so that she can exact her revenge against those responsibile. The catch? Her sister was killed by the royal family.

Wes is a stable groom at Black Cape Castle, and he, too, has suffered loss at the hands of the royals. When he sees a mysterious girl sneaking around the castle he stops her but does not know why. When she flees he has to decide if he will risk staying at the castle, or follow her while on the run. 

Now Moira must fight for her own survival. She  questions her feelings about Wes, did he stop her or did he save her?
