There is no English word for her kind. Born of witch and demon, Alessandra is an exile, a young wanderer devoting her life to one purpose: the binding of demons. The world is a different place since the Gates opened. Demon's roam the earth freely, wreaking havoc wherever they go.

With the name Osiris scarred across her face, Alessandra finds herself hunting the demon in the shadowy streets of Chicago to wipe the evidence of their broken contract from her flesh, but it seems something much more menacing is happening in the city's shadows.
