The Animator (Larry Stylinson)

Harry, an animator and Niall, a telepath are magical traders who's boat is ambushed by the evil Zaphior, an absorber who takes the crew in search of the rare animator to steal his magic.
On their quest to get their crew back, Harry and Niall join forces with three survivors who escaped from Aramore, a hidden land people think is just a legend.
The five of them and the tea-pot Harry accidentally brings to life have to overcome obstacles and magical creatures as they try and find Aramore and save the crew from Zaphior.
All the while, Harry has to learn how to control his powers while being taught by Louis, a seer and librarian who's still bitter about Harry accidentally messing up his library years ago.
