"Once it was the two of us. But now there is only me, alone here in my decisions. I guess you could blame yourself. you are the one who left, threw me to the wolves. But I have overcome...." He leaned down and tilted the others head up to face him. "what do you have to say? Nothing? Good you can watch everything you loved go up in flames, it's fair is it not?"
"it's more than fair."
"Fishy kisses are better than
kisses," I say, the words coming out of nowhere, "and like that, two people together are better than marriage."
"What are you talking about?"
"Nothing really," I sigh, hunching over myself more to trap the warmth, "it's just..."
"Just?"
"...I'm tired of this world, being judged for something you can't control, molded by peoples opinion, it's sickening." I glance at him, gauging his expression, he didn't have any. A crazy idea enters my head. "Hey, let's run away together, from society," I breathe, pausing for a bit, "maybe it's cowardly, maybe it's foolish, but I don't want to be defined by people who don't know me," maybe the cold is getting to me, "run away with me."

Loopie didn't expect that the single shine of hope that finally shone came in the form of a silent and mysterious werewolf.
Nao didn't quite understand how his fate entangled with that of the trouble-magnet rascal. But with a bit of family feud and the need for something stable, this arrangement might very well work for the both of them.
